Course: Levi’s Story

Levi’s aspiration was to become a mental health nurse but wasn’t sure of the next steps she needed to take. When meeting a job coach, Levi was informed about the Apollo project and how she could be supported into employment skills and also participate in the Care Certificate course. With a desire to work within Health and Social Care, Levi was keen to sign-up.

Levi had been out of education for some time and was nervous about returning. However, with the support of a job coach, she was made to feel confident about signing up and meeting new people. She found the staff friendly and supportive and together with her dedicated job coach, they explored volunteering opportunities and created a new CV.
