Course: Ian’s Story

Ian was made redundant after working in his previous role for eight years, which was a significant and challenging transition for him. The search for new employment took a toll on his confidence, making the process even more daunting.

During a jobs fair, he met with Nicky from East Coast College who informed him about Apollo, a programme designed to broaden his horizons and increase his chances of training for specific opportunities. Encourages, Ian decided to sign up, hopeful that this opportunity would help him regain his confidence and secure a new job.

Ian teamed up with Nicky to revamp his CV and successfully completed the Care Certificate course. Driven by his passion for growth he also aced the Information, Advice and Guidance course and Prevent training. These achievements paved the way for him to secure employment!
