On February 27th, the Apollo Project had the honour of attending the Great British Care Awards as a Regional Winner and named a National Finalist for the Retention, Recruitment and Recognition Award.
Representing the East of England and East Coast College at this year’s national ceremony, the project stood alongside some of the most innovative and impactful initiatives in the Health and Social Care sector. This category recognises organisations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to attracting, supporting and retaining a workforce that feels empowered and celebrated.
Although Apollo didn’t win, the team is immensely proud to have been recognised at such a significant level. Being shortlisted among so many organisations and programmes nationwide underscores the powerful work taking place within the project and highlights it’s growing influence across the sector.
This recognition affirms the project’s mission to place people at the heart of what it does. Through thoughtful recruitment pathways and impactful strategies and meaningful recognition programmes, Apollo continues to create an environment where participants feel appreciated and supported in their professional development journey.
